She holds an A.A. in Acting from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, a B.A. in Theatre from Florida State University, and a M.S. in Theatre from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She is a proud Alumni of Thespian Troupe 1802, Warner Robins High School. She has acted in over 40 plays and musicals, and directed over 55 productions. Some of the favorite roles that she has played include Helene in "Sweet Charity", Nance in "Female Transport", Germaine in "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" and Carol in "Laughter on the 23rd Floor" with Onstage Atlanta. Her favorite shows as a director include: "She Kills Monsters", "Queens", "These Shining Lives", "Footloose", "Female Transport" and "The Outsiders".  She is a Texas State UIL One-Act Play Director, and led many students from her former Thespian Troupe (6712) to compete and qualify in Thespy Events at the International Thespian Festival, Indiana University. Her daughter, Vivien, just graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Visual and Performing Arts and is headed to Northeastern University in Boston to study history and political science.  She is thrilled to be back home in Georgia and enjoys teaching dialects, creating all things theatre, spending time at Dad's Garage Theatre (where her partner, founder George Faughnan performs) and playing disc golf with her dog, Stella.
